**My Nursing Hub publishes nursing education resources for independent learning.**
This page explains how we prepare study guides, select references, describe clinical-
review status, and correct mistakes. Our resources support learning but do not replace
formal nursing instruction, supervised practice, local policy, or advice from a
licensed healthcare professional.

## What we publish

Our main resources include [BS Nursing and BSN notes](https://mynursinghub.com/bsn-2024/),
subject-level questions with answers, [clinical skills explanations](https://mynursinghub.com/clinical-procedures-notes-for-nursing-students/),
[nursing care plan learning examples](https://mynursinghub.com/nursing-care-plans/),
and independent [UK NMC examination and registration study guides](https://mynursinghub.com/uk-nmc-preparation/).
We distinguish curriculum-specific study notes from general medical and nursing
reference information.

## How content is prepared

 1. **Define the learning question.** Each resource aims to address one clearly defined
educational need. Closely related questions may be combined on the same page rather
    than creating unnecessary duplicate articles.
 2. **Check relevant sources.** Where applicable, we consult primary health authorities,
regulators, established educational publications, and accessible research. Examples
include the [World Health Organization](https://www.who.int/), [CDC](https://www.cdc.gov/),
[MedlinePlus](https://medlineplus.gov/), the [UK Nursing and Midwifery Council](https://www.nmc.org.uk/),
and educational texts such as [OpenStax](https://openstax.org/).
 3. **Make explanations usable.** We favour direct answers, clearly labelled diagrams,
worked examples, accessible comparison tables, and links to related concepts. We
identify simulated cases as educational examples rather than real patient outcomes.
 4. **Review before making professional claims.** A citation or an automated content
check is not a substitute for independent clinical review. We identify a qualified
reviewer only after actual review is completed and their role or credentials can
    be substantiated.
 5. **Revise when necessary.** Materials may be updated to correct inaccuracies, improve
clarity, fix outdated links, or respond to changes in official requirements.

## AI-assisted content and illustrations

Some articles, study diagrams, calculations and editorial updates may be developed
with AI assistance. AI output can contain mistakes, including incorrect anatomical
labels or invented details. We do not treat automated checking as proof of clinical
accuracy. Materials with unresolved clinical-review requirements should be treated
as unreviewed educational resources, even when they cite authoritative sources.

## Clinical review and authorship

A page byline identifies the attributed author when that attribution has been verified.
It does not automatically indicate licensed clinical practice, independent peer
review, or endorsement by a regulator. **Unless an article explicitly identifies
a qualified reviewer and review date, do not assume it has received independent
qualified clinical review.** For medication dosage, clinical procedures, and patient
care, students must use authorised teaching and current local clinical protocols.

## Regulatory and curriculum independence

My Nursing Hub is an independent educational website. It is **not** the Pakistan
Nursing and Midwifery Council (PNMC), the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC),
a university, or an examination provider, and is not officially endorsed by those
bodies. For BS Nursing material we use relevant PNMC-aligned study organisation
where applicable; the official curriculum and your institution’s current requirements
take precedence. For NMC preparation, always verify current standards and examination
documents on the [official NMC website](https://www.nmc.org.uk/).

## What our materials cannot do

Examples and reference ranges are general educational explanations, not patient-
specific diagnoses or medication orders. Do not act on a clinical value, pharmacology
explanation, infusion calculation, or visual diagram without checking the patient’s
context, an authorised order and relevant professional guidance. In urgent situations
follow appropriate emergency pathways.

## Corrections, updates and feedback

To flag an incorrect reference, safety issue, accessibility problem, broken download,
or questionable diagram, email [info@mynursinghub.com](https://mynursinghub.com/editorial-standards/info@mynursinghub.com).
Please include the page URL and the passage in question. We will assess reports
and update the material when a correction is warranted. Revision dates on pages
should reflect genuine content updates, not cosmetic changes intended to simulate
freshness.

Editorial standards first published 23 October 2026. This describes our intended
approach and transparently distinguishes independent source checks from human professional
sign-off; it is not a claim that all previously published resources have completed
every review step.
